About This Map

What You're Seeing

The Unspeciated™ Integrated Intelligence Map visualizes the Perceive-Relate To-Apply (P/R/A) Framework, revealing how intelligence operates as a shared capacity across all life forms.

Each species appears as a 3D umwelt (sensory world) positioned according to how they process information through three dimensions:

  • Perceive: Capacity to detect linear and nonlinear information
  • Relate To: How individuals internally process what they've perceived
  • Apply: Information applied in living contexts

The Research Foundation

This work builds on Michael Cohen's 54 Natural Senses research (Project NatureConnect), integrated with biosemiotics theory, category theory, and over 40 years of interspecies communication practice.

The map currently displays 522 sense implementations across 93 species, revealing patterns of intelligence that transcend biological form.

Presented at NeurIPS 2025 Workshop on AI for Animal Communication and University of Saskatchewan International Multispecies Methods Research Symposium.

Acknowledgments

Developed in collaboration with Claude (Anthropic) as demonstration of the three-way collaboration model: Human ↔ AI ↔ Species.

With gratitude to the Earth Species Project community for inspiring expanded research into cross-species intelligence patterns.
